The San Antonio Spurs were able to beat the Los Angeles Lakers thanks to Victor Wembanyama and support from Nigeria's Charles Bassey.

The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Lakers 126-102 in, Los Angeles' first game back after two postponements due to the wildfires destroying the region.

Victor Wembanyama finished with 23 points and eight rebounds, and Harrison Barnes scored 10 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter.

In the Lakers' first home game since devastating wildfires destroyed thousands of buildings, Anthony Davis scored 30 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, while LeBron James contributed 18 points and eight assists.
