Tyler Herro had 18 points and 10 rebounds and Bam Adebayo had 19 points and 11 rebounds for Miami.
With 2:54 remaining in overtime, Adebayo scored a 3-pointer to give the Heat the lead, 120-118, as Dallas missed its next seven shots in a losing effort.
At the game, France football star Paul Pogba was there to support his friend Butler.
This is not the first time Pogba would show up for Butler as he turned up for the 2023 NBA Finals against the Denver Nuggets.
