Precious Achiuwa turns Lion King in Zambia
Achiuwa recently shared pictures and videos of himself walking two lions in Zambia on Instagram.
He was in Zambia for three days as part of the first-ever kids basketball training program led by an NBA player in Zambia.
Over 150 kids attended the camp, which took place in Lusaka from August 3–5, according to Zambian Sports.
On Monday night, the former big man for the Toronto Raptors posted a video of himself walking two lions on Instagram. The two lions stroll peacefully in front of him, and it looks as though he is holding them by the tail.
The caption with the photos reads, "We're trying to make your nervous system feel safe, but these are real killers."
Fans have been both admiring and making fun of Precious Achiuwa for her recent experience strolling with lions in Zambia, as his story has gone viral online.
Christian Koloko, Achiuwa's previous Raptors teammate, posted a comment on the video, stating, "Nah u tripping bro."
His former teammates Immanuel Quickley and Scottie Barnes also left comments on his picture with the Lions.

Achiuwa and Knicks
After spending one season with the Miami Heat as a first-round selection from Memphis in the 2020 NBA Draft, Achiuwa was moved to the Toronto Raptors in 2021.
In December 2023, Achiuwa became a member of the New York Knicks, having been acquired together with Malachi Flynn and OG Anunoby.
The Knicks handed Immanuel Quickley, RJ Barrett, and a second-round draft pick to the opposing side in exchange.
Achiuwa was re-signed by the Knicks on July 30, 2024, for a $6 million, one-year deal.
Achiuwa averaged 7.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game while playing with the Knicks in 2023–2024.
