The Warriors reacted to last season's disappointing playoff run by trading Jordan Poole, Patrick Baldwin, Ryan Rollins, a 2027 second-round draft pick, and a 2030 first-round draft pick to Washington for the 12-time All-Star guard, Chris Paul.
Curry welcomes Chris Paul to Golden State
Curry posted a video in his Instagram story sending kind words and praising Poole’s growth in his four-year run with the Dubs while taking the time to welcome his long-time rival now turned teammate, Pual, as he joins the franchise.
Poole ended his Warriors career averaging 15.8 points, 3.4 assists, and 2.6 rebounds.
