Nigerian-born NBA and Afrobeats star Victor Oladipo to sell estate for ₦5.2 billion
According to listing agent Liz Hogan of Compass, American professional basketball player of Nigerian descent Victor Oladipo has listed his Miami Beach property for $9.995 million.
According to Hogan, the nearly 6,500-square-foot house is situated on guarded Hibiscus Island, which is south of the Venetian Islands.
Oladipo claimed that in 2021, after being moved from the Houston Rockets, he paid $7.75 million for the seven-bedroom house.
He picked the house due to its proximity to the Heat arena of about 3 miles and the fact that it is a contemporary residence with multiple terraces and a pool that was built in 2020.
The guesthouse now has a $50,000 recording studio that was added by the NBA All-Star, who is also a singer.
For his upcoming album, which has not yet been given a name, the Connected singer claimed to have used the studio to record tracks.
Oladipo also stated that he also hosted his daughter's first birthday celebration at the home.
According to Hogan, the nearly 13-acre site is larger than usual for the neighborhood.
However, Oladipo, who is originally from Maryland, stated he intends to purchase a house with additional acreage for his daughter.
2013 saw Oladipo's entry into the NBA as a rookie. According to the Heat, he had an injury in April and will miss the entire season.
After exceeding expectations in the playoffs, Oladipo’s Miami Heat squad was defeated by the Denver Nuggets in the NBA Finals.
In February, Oladipo, who suffered an injury during the playoffs, released the Afrobeats album Tunde.
