Rather, it was Betnijah Laney-Hamilton who turned in her greatest scoring performance since July 6.
With 20 points on 8 of 14 shots overall, including a solid 4 of 6 clip from long range, the 30-year-old came up big.
She also contributed one steal, two assists, and two rebounds.
Jonquel Jones finished with 14 points and nine rebounds to complete New York's lineup of players in double figures.
The Lynx had a different fate than New York, who converted on 11 of 24 (45.8%) of their triples.

With 16 points, Defensive Player of the Year Napheesa Collier led the team in scoring for Minnesota, which only made 6 of its 20 deep shots.
Collier finished with a 7 of 12 overall shooting percentage, 8 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists. The only other significant scorers were Alanna Smith with 14 and Courtney Williams with 15.
