Zaire Wade son of NBA legend Dwyane Wade is set to continue his professional basketball career in the Basketball Africa League (BAL).
A day before his 21st birthday, Wade joined the South African side Cape Town Tigers in the BAL.
Wade decided to have another shot at professional basketball after he was waived by the G League team Salt Lake City Stars.

The six-foot-one-inch youngster in an interview with ESPN explained his decision to revive his career with the Cape Town Tigers.
He said that the BAL was an opportunity for him to showcase his talent in a different atmosphere than the United States of America (USA).

Wade was part of the players invited for the BAL combine in Paris and was among the best players in camp.
Speaking on the move, Wade said, "You know, everybody has their doubts. You go through adversity and stuff like that.
"I think getting back to work and showing where I was at mentally really showed me that I could have the opportunity to potentially showcase my talent elsewhere, playing professionally in another country."
Waded then thanked his father a three-time NBA champion for his support and for granting him the freedom to make his own choices.
He added, "When I was younger, maybe I wouldn't have thought that I would have went to Salt Lake and then over to Cape Town, but I think that's what the journey is all about - life puts you in great situations and great places you never would have expected.
"I'm just grateful that he [his father] gave me that freedom to go ahead and make decisions."
The NBA is making huge moves in Africa as a pre-season game is expected on the continent in 2024.
Wade signed for the Cape Town Tigers now owned in part by Nigerian-born, Ghana-based singer Oluwatosin Ajibade known by his stage name Mr. Eazi.
He now has an opportunity to fine-tune his skills as a professional basketball player as the game continues to develop in Africa.
