Usyk's promoter said a 60/40 offer was presented to Fury but he turned it down.
Ukrainian professional boxer Oleksandr Usyk has encountered massive challenges setting up his next fight.
Usyk has targeted a fight against English professional boxer Tyson Fury.
Usyk holds the WBO, WBA, IBF, IBO, and heavyweight titles while Fury is the WBC champion in the same division.
A fight between Usyk and Fury brings all the belts in the heavyweight division to decide the undisputed champion.
Usyk and Fury negotiations stalled
Negotiations between Fury and Usyk have been going on since last year December.
After recording a knockout victory against Derek Chisora in December, Fury went face-to-face against Usyk in the ring.
The negotiations have not been smooth with leaks coming from both camps about a potential deal.
Frank Warren, Fury's manager recently stated that his client deserves a larger part of the deal because of his marketability compared to Usyk.
Usyk's manager Alexander Krassyuk has however come out to state that they have offered to Fury a 60/40 purse split to the winner deal.
Fury reportedly has turned down the deal and it seems negotiations have stalled. Usyk's promoter made this known in an interview on Talksports in the United Kingdom.
Krassyuk said, "Frank Warren said he’s got a pot and he needs to get the agreement of both parties to participate, and if the money in the pot is not enough it won’t happen.
“I completely agree with it. On our side, we have nothing more to add.
“We are not asking for a figure, we are asking for a split and probably the split doesn’t work well if someone is asking for a figure, and I can definitely say that it’s not our party."
Krassyuk also explained that purse splits and the two offers for the fight have been turned down by Fury.
He added, "We initially agreed to 50/50. But then Tyson was asking for some bigger money.
"So we made it clear that we are ready to go 60/40, but the winner takes 60. That was our latest offer.”
Warren has hinted that Fury returns to the ring on April, 29 with the Wembley Stadium already booked.
If Usyk is unable to reach an agreement with Fury for an undisputed fight, it is expected that he returns to the ring before June to take on a mandatory challenger for one of his titles.
