American professional boxer Deontay Wilder has detailed his journey to becoming a two-time heavyweight boxing champion.
Wilder is set to return to the ring after a seven-month absence from the sport.
The Bronze Bomber was last in action against Robert Helenius back in October 2022 at the Barclays Center, New York City United States of America (USA).
After back-to-back defeats against English professional boxer Tyson Fury, Wilder produced a spectacular first-round knockout victory.
Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua missed opportunity
Wilder previously held the WBC heavyweight title and is aiming to become a two-time champion.
Before his loss, Wilder tried to set up a fight with English professional boxer of Nigerian descent Anthony Oluwafemi Joshua.
Wilder during his reign as WBC champion would have fought for undisputed in the heavyweight division against Joshua the IBF, IBO, WBA, and WBO title holder at the time.
Joshua would also lose his titles following back-to-back defeats by Ukranian professional boxer Oleksandr Usyk.
Deontay Wilder on Anthony Joshua's mindset
Wilder is yet to announce an opponent while Joshua takes on American professional boxer Jermaine Franklin.
Ahead of the heavyweight showdown, Wilder gave an analysis of Joshua's weakness insisting he does not deal with pressure well.
In an interview with ESN News, He said, “I think he traps [himself] in his mind and it can become pressure.
"He can be better than somebody, but the pressure, I think he gets in his head and adds extra.
"Because he really can beat these guys with ease with the right mindset.”
Wilder explained in the interview that Joshua has to have the right mindset if he is to overcome the Michigan man.
