In their first match held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre on January 15, Mandonga floored Wanyonyi and the Kenyan will be hoping to change the narrative when he faces off against the Tanzanian.
In a previous interview, Wanyonyi revealed that he will be looking for a win over Mandonga since it is crucial for him to reclaim his Africa Boxing Union (ABU).
“This time around, I want to win so that my promoter can organise a match for me to reclaim my title here (Nairobi). I want to emerge top in Africa again,” he said.
The event will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and tickets are already being sold. For the early bird, regular tickets will go for Ksh 1000 while the VIP tickets will go for Ksh 5,500.
