Former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson is set to fight YouTuber Jake Paul in a much-anticipated bout at AT&T Stadium, Texas.

Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has announced his upcoming showdown against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul set to take place on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The venue, which hosts the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, with its 80,000 seat capacity, is expected to witness an electrifying clash between two contrasting figures in the boxing world.

Tyson, widely celebrated as one of the heavyweight division's finest, is eager to test his prowess against the 27-year-old Paul, who boasts a commendable 9-1 record with six of those victories coming by way of knockout.

At 58, 'Iron Mike' is keen to demonstrate that age has not dulled his legendary power and skill, as he seeks to add another knockout to his impressive 50-6 record, which includes 44 knockouts.

The event marks a significant moment in the sports streaming landscape, with Netflix securing rights to broadcast the fight, ensuring a global audience will witness these two contrasting figures in the boxing ring.

Tyson expressed his anticipation for the bout, emphasizing the unique blend of youthful ambition and seasoned expertise that this match represents.

"I'm very much looking forward to stepping into the ring with Jake Paul," Tyson stated.

"He's grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a 'kid' can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT (Greatest Of All Time). It's a full circle moment that will be beyond thrilling to watch, as I started him on his boxing journey on the undercard of my fight with Roy Jones and now I plan to finish him."

Paul, reflecting on his rapid rise within the sport, highlighted the surreal nature of the upcoming fight.

"It's crazy to think that in my second pro fight I went viral for knocking out Nate Robinson on Mike Tyson's undercard," he said. "Now, less than four years later, I'm stepping up to face Tyson myself to see if I have what it takes to beat one of boxing's most notorious fighters and biggest icons."

This bout not only promises to deliver an exhilarating clash between two fighters from vastly different backgrounds and eras but also serves as a testament to boxing's evolving landscape, where legends and newcomers can share the spotlight, captivating fans old and new.

With the backdrop of the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium, Tyson vs. Paul is poised to be one of the year's most talked-about sporting events.
