According to WBC champion Tyson Fury, he would love a fight against Anthony Joshua.
Tyson Fury, the current WBC heavyweight champion, thinks a matchup with British professional boxer Anthony Joshua, who is of Nigerian origin, is necessary.
Fans undoubtedly still want to watch the bout between the two English heavyweights, even if it now belongs to the sport's growing category of bouts that have taken too long to make.
After being frustrated by fruitless discussions, Fury, who is currently in his second stint as world champion, earlier rejected the notion of the bout.
He later changed his mind and said he would really want the domestic dispute to happen during a recent media event.

Asked about the fight, Fury said, “I’d love it to happen. I think it’s got to happen.”
Fury has made public his offer for Joshua to fight him late last year.
Fury called out Joshua via social media to fight him for the WBC title.
After two losses to Oleksandr Usyk, the two began hurried discussions in the second part of 2022, with Fury willing to give AJ a crack at the WBC Heavyweight championship.
Things started out well, but as soon as the talks started happening through social media posts and videos, things quickly went south.
Fury imposed timelines on Joshua that he couldn't achieve therefore they parted ways.
