A massive line-up of 24 bouts is set to get the sweat flowing on the Lugogo Indoor Stadium canvas across junior, youth and elite categories.
Speaking to Pulse Sports Uganda, Muhangi said they had made several changes out of experience from the inaugural tournament.

"Every champion will have a belt in their respective weight category on December 26, and not a medal as it was in the first tournament,” Muhangi said.
"Competitiveness is going to be on a higher level, unlike in the first season. We have new entrants who are equally good and will be meeting the champions of the previous tournament.”
"We strive to have more sponsorships and better organisation. We will continue giving match allowances as in the first season.”
“The cash prizes will depend on sponsors, well-wishers and gate collections,” Muhangi added.
On the issue of accusations of bias by match officials and violence by fans, Muhangi believes they have learnt from their mistakes and will improve.
"For fans and boxers, we will better judge the game in determining the winner.”
“We shall improve because we have learnt from our mistakes, and we shall improve in that department,” he added.
Among the most anticipated bouts in the elite category, new entrant Kimbugwe Broline will be battling with last year's runner-up Kasujja Richard in the Light Middle Weight.
Joshua Tukamuhebwa will take on Innocent Amoko, and Jimmy Adriko will fight Wasswa Ssali.
The bouts will be held progressively every two weeks.
