A date for the rematch between Undisputed Champion Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury has been set.

Earlier this month, Fury got beaten by Usyk in a split decision by the judge and claimed the Undisputed Champion title.

In Saudi Arabia, Oleksandr Usyk handed the Gipsy King his first-ever professional loss, with the final scores being 115-112, 113-114, and 114-113.

Usyk defeated Fury to win the WBC title, adding to his WBA (Super), WBO, IBF, and IBO crowns. He became the first boxer to unify the heavyweight division since Lennox Lewis in 1999.

Fury and Usyk rematch date fixed

Gypsy King and Ukrainian Cat are set for a rematch later this year after their recent fight two weeks ago.

Promoter Frank Warren reportedly made sure everyone knew about Fury's rematch clause in their initial contract after the fight.

The rematch is reportedly set for the last month of 2024 as the British fighter tries to recover from his challenging loss.

In a post on X, Turki Alalshikh wrote, “The rematch between the Undisputed Champion Oleksandr Usyk and the Champion Tyson Fury is now scheduled on the 21st of December 2024 during Riyadh Season...

“The world will watch another historical fight again...  Our commitment to boxing fans continues… We hope you enjoy it...🥊🔥.”

Usyk will be looking to defend his title as the Undisputed Champion following his win against the British fighter Fury.

The fight, which occurred earlier this month, progressed to twelve rounds, during which the Gypsy King was defeated.
