Wilder is ready to mix it up with African brother Ngannou, labels Usyk and Fury as cheats.
American professional boxer Deontay Wilder is ready for a fight with Cameroonian-French professional mixed martial artist Francis Ngannou.
The 37-year-old Wilder is set to return to the ring for the first time in 2023.
In an interview with Elie Seckbach, Wilder talked about negotiations with potential opponents.
He started off by revealing that English professional boxer of Nigerian descent Anthony Joshua does not want a fight.
According to Wilder, Joshua turned down fifty million dollars, and ever since then his manager Eddie Hearn has been unable to meet their terms for a fight.
Wilder on Ngannou
In the second phase of the interview, Wilder was asked about a potential fight against Ngannou.
Ngannou the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight title holder is now set to move over to boxing.
Following his exit from the UFC, Ngannou has targeted a fight against Joshua and World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
When Wilder was asked about a fight with Ngannou he said, "I would love to, another African brother. I respect the decision of what he has done."
Wilder on Usyk and Fury
Wilder also gave his thoughts on a potential undisputed heavyweight boxing fight between WBC champion Fury and IBF, IBO, WBA, and WBO champions Oleksandr Usyk.
He accused both of cheating and said that whoever does it best would be the winner should the fight be made.
Wilder said, "I don't know. That's a 50/50 fight. Depends on who's gonna cheat the hardest. That's what it is, it depends on who's gonna cheat the hardest."
Wilder is now expected to take on Andy Ruiz next with the fight scheduled for April of May this year.
