Due to Nigeria's unbeaten record throughout the tournament, they were declared the winners based on their group-topping position.
The Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) president, Uyi Akpata, expressed his delight at the team's achievement and praised their hard work and dedication.

Nigeria's journey to qualification included victories over Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and Malawi in the group stage. They also defeated Rwanda in the semifinals to set up the final match against Zimbabwe, which was ultimately abandoned due to rain.
The 2025 U19 ICC Women's World Cup will take place in Malaysia from January 18 to February 2nd.
