“We have quality players with resilience, resolve and ambition. So, that is not out of our range. We have been able to study our opponents and no team is unbeatable.”
The team has undergone two phases of camping in Nigeria and is currently in India at the OMTEX Cricket Institute for final preparations.
They will play warm-up matches against Pakistan on January 13 and Scotland on January 15 before heading to Sarawak, Malaysia.
“I can say the preparations have been going on well. We haven’t stopped since we qualified and at some point, it was a bit too much for the girls and we had some rest and started again in November.
“We are going to meet experts so I feel like what we are going to do in India is just fine-tuning because we have done most of the work in Nigeria. Just to add a few things and how to go about our weaknesses,” Bhakita explained.
