Xbox's new controller is now available worldwide and comes with a dynamic background for the Xbox Series S/X.

Microsoft has launched a new version of the Xbox Wireless Controller, dubbed the ‘Stellar Shift’.

Xbox announced the latest release on its Twitter page on February 7, and also on a product page on the Microsoft Store.

"Experience the Xbox Wireless Controller – Stellar Shift Special Edition, featuring a color-shifting, blue-purple shimmer, and rubberized purple swirl grips that bring each controller to life," the product page reads.

Xbox also announced the new release shares some elements with the standard series, like the unique color-shifting effect that turns the controller purple or blue depending on the reflection angle.

Microsoft released the Elite Series 2 as a follow-up to the Xbox Elite Controller, but this latest edition is the fanciest and most affordable, with a reported retail price of less than $100 (N74,000).
