Rivers United will start their group stage campaign with a trip to Diables Noirs on February 12, before returning to Nigeria to host ASEC Mimosa.
Nigeria's Rivers United have been denied the chance to play their home games in the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup at their Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
Having qualified for the group stages of the competition last November, Rivers United are the only remaining Nigerian club side left on the continent.
The Nigerian champions are drawn in Group B of the Confederation Cup.
Rivers United to play home games in Uyo
Unfortunately for the Pride of Rivers and their fans, they would play their home matches at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, 124.3 km from their base, Port Harcourt.

This comes as a result of the Adokiye Amiesamaka Stadium, failing to meet up with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) requirements for hosting football matches.
The 'Nest of Champions' in Uyo played host to the final of the 2021/22 Confederation Cup with Morocco's RS Berkane defeating South Africa's Orlando Pirates 5–4 on penalties after a 1–1 draw, to capture their second title.
Rivers United currently play their home games in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) in Port Harcourt.
Rivers United to start the season away in Congo
The Stanley Eguma-managed side are drawn in Group B of the competition along with Cote d'Ivoire's ASEC Mimosa, Congo’s Diables Noirs and DC Motema Pembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Port Harcourt club will start their group stage campaign with a trip to Diables Noirs on February 12, before returning to Nigeria to host ASEC Mimosa in their first home match, seven days later.
They will play DR Congo's DC Motema Pembe in a doubleheader on February 26 and March 8.
