Despite being seen as one of Manchester City's most integral players from last season, Joao Cancelo could be on his way out of the club as Bayern Munich are believed to be in talks with the Cityzens for a possible loan for the Portuguese full-back.
Bayern want Cancelo on loan with an option to buy
Cancelo was almost undroppable for Manchester City in the 2021/22 season and even claimed his preferred jersey number at the start of the 2022/23 season, and both things led most to believe that he would be with City for the long haul.
However, multiple sources are now reporting that Cancelo could be set for a move to Bayern Munich in the final hours of the January window.

Cancelo willing to leave Manchester City
Manchester City are believed to be ready to allow Cancelo to leave, as the player has already made his intention to leave clear and is rumoured to already have a deal with Bayern Munich.
Cancelo's dissatisfaction with Manchester City could be traced back to him receiving significantly less playing time in 2022-23 than in previous seasons.
He has not been an ever-present for Manchester City this season and has sometimes been outranked by youngster, Rico Lewis, and Nathan Ake who is usually a centre-back.
Cancelo has not made an appearance for City since his disaster-class in the Manchester Derby, missing three consecutive matches for the club, fueling suggestions that Guardiola might be dissatisfied with his current level of performance.
