Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has issued a hands-off warning to clubs looking to sign Osimhen.
Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen continues to be the subject of transfer interest from multiple clubs after his performances for Napoli so far this season.
Osimhen has been linked with potential summer moves to Manchester United, Chelsea and even Paris Saint Germain.
The club president De Laurentiiis has come out to state categorically that the player is not for sale as Napoli do not need to sell.
Osimhen not for sale
Napoli President De Laurentiis has warned potential suitors that the club is not willing to sell the Super Eagles striker as they don't have to.
Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted an update on Osimhen's career containing words from De Laurentiis on the future of his star striker.
“I can tell you that Osimhen is not for sale,” Di Laurentiis said on the transfer speculation surrounding Osimhen according to Fabrizio.
“Our players are in demand, but I don’t have to sell anyone. We don’t have any debts,” Di Laurentiis doubled down on his reasons to keep Osimhen.
Osimhen currently has a contract with Napoli until 2025 which means that is the earliest he can leave according to the president who remains adamant about not selling him.
The 24-year-old has scored 16 goals in 17 Serie A games making him the top scorer in the league and establishing his place as one of the very best in Europe.
