Nigerian striker Isaac Success is still holding out hope to represent the Super Eagles again
Nigerian striker Isaac Success has revealed his desire to play for the national team again despite falling off the radar in recent years.
The 27-year-old has been reviving his club career at Udinese but he still remains forgotten at international level for Nigeria.
Success has now reiterated his desire to play for the Super Eagles while also admitting the level of difficulty attached to his dreams.
Isaac Success still wants to play for Nigeria
The Udinese striker, in an interview with Steven Moore and Michele Bruzzese of TLN TV, spoke about many things including his Super Eagles ambitions.
"It's emotional, it’s something every Nigerian player in Europe wants to be a part of and when I had my chance at the under-17 world cup, it's an incredible feeling," Success said on his international career so far.
The striker only played four games for the Super Eagles last of which came in a friendly game against Uganda in November 2018.
"For me, I’ve achieved what I wanted before starting my career and of course, I want to go further but at the point, we’ve got a lot of good players right now in Europe doing well for their club sides and its always going to be a competition," The Udinese man stated in admission of the difficulty of his dream.
Success rounded up by stating his ambition, "for me what I’m focused on is just to keep fit and keep going, I believe my chance will come again."
The forward would need to improve his numbers if he hopes to catch Peseiro's attention though as he has only scored once in 23 games for Udinese across all competitions.
