The No Limits boys from Ikenne have proven to be beyond others at their level
Beyond Limits FA have today emerged as champions of the 2022/2023 Creative Championship, TCC, season.
Beyond Limits sealed their crown following a come-from-behind 2-1 win over their hosts Sporting Lagos at the Legacy Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere, on Sunday.
Farouq Ogundare was the star and hero of the day for the No Limits after he scored both goals that saw the Remo starlets complete a remarkable comeback win.
His goals were scored in either half to cancel out Sporting’s opener in the second quarter of the match.
What the win means
With the decisive win over Sporting, Beyond Limits reaffirm themselves as the undisputed kings of the TCC.
The Ikenne side has now won three consecutive TCC titles to maintain their dominance of the grassroots competition.
Elsewhere;
In the other games, it was another goal-fest in the TCC with 11 goals scored in the other four matches.
There is still no respite for Valiant FC who lost 3-1 to Imperial to make it back-to-back heavy defeats.
Gbagada FC beat Atlantic Business 1-0 while Dannaz and Broad City served a four-goal thriller after a share of the spoils following a 2-2 draw.
In the other match, it was Dino who came out tops following a 2-0 win over Iganmu FC.
