Achraf Hakimi is reportedly accused of rape against a 23-year-old lady.
According to reports in France on Monday, Paris St Germain defender Achraf Hakimi is currently being accused of rape.
French publication Le Parisien, reports that a young woman went to the police station this weekend, where she said she was raped by the Paris Saint-Germain player.
The report which emerged on Monday, February 27, 2023, says French authorities have opened an investigation into the case due to the seriousness of the facts and the notoriety of the alleged perpetrator.
Achraf Hakimi allegedly accused of Rape
According to the report, on Sunday, February 26, a young woman presented herself at the police station of Nogent-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne), where she told the police that she had been raped by Paris Saint-Germain right-back Achraf Hakimi.
The alleged victim, aged 23, lives in Fontenay-sous-Bois (Val-de-Marne), and said she did not wish to file a complaint, but rather "make a statement of rape".
The Details
This Monday, the investigators had since opened investigation into the case, on the basis of the statements of the complainant.
According to a source, Hakim and the young woman first came in contact on January 16, via the social network Instagram.
However, on Saturday, February 25, in the night, the young woman reportedly went to the player's home in Boulogne, aboard an Uber ordered by the Moroccan.
According to the young woman, things got out of hand in Hakimi’s home and the Moroccan international allegedly kissed her on the mouth, lifted her clothes and kissed her breasts despite her refusal.
The woman also claims that the PSG star committed digital penetration despite her protests again.
The young victim finally managed to free herself from the footballer by pushing him away with her foot.
And when she was released, she then allegedly sent a text message to a friend who came to pick her up.
The news comes just over two months after Hakimi helped Morocco to a historic semi-final spot at the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
The Moroccan World Cup star recently celebrated the birthday of his first son who turned four two weeks ago, with his wife and partner Hiba Abouk.
The 24-year-old right-back has also been impressive for his club since the start of the New Year. However, as at the time of this report, Hakimi is yet to respond to the allegations.
As of now, no charges have been filed against Achraf Hakimi and PSG have also not yet released an official statement on the matter.
Hakimi was not involved in PSG’s 3-0 win against Marseille on Sunday, and according to social media, he was alone in Paris, whilst his wife and two children were on holiday in Dubai.
