Ahmed Musa is a 31-year-old Nigerian footballer and is the most-capped Super Eagles of Nigeria player in history.
Ahmed was born on October 14, 1992, in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria to a multi-religious family. His mother Sarah Musa (née Moses) is a Christian from Edo State in the Southern part of Nigeria while his father hails from the North.
Musa attended Saint Peace Primary School in his elementary years before heading to Ihya’ul Islamic Secondary School for his secondary education. after which he joined GBS Football Academy, where he started his football career.
The Nigerian international is known for his pace and impressive work rate, mostly playing as a left winger. Ahmed Musa had his breakthrough in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) when he played for Kano Pillars during the 2009/10 season.

Ahmed Musa Career
Ahmed Musa started his club career at GBS Football Academy where he played from 2005 to 2008. In 2008, he went on loan to JUTH. During the 2009/10 season, Ahmed Musa played on loan for Nigerian giants Kano Pillars. It was at Pillars he got his breakthrough with 18 goals in 25 matches.
The Super Eagles forward then secured a transfer to Dutch side VVV Venlo, playing there between 2010 to 2012. Ahmed Musa's most successful club campaign came at CSKA Moscow where he scored 42 goals in 125 matches for the Russian club between 2012 and 2016.
Musa scored 10 goals in 42 games across two seasons in the Netherlands with VVV Venlo and got signed by CSKA Moscow in 2012.
The rapid winger spent the next five years in Russia and became a household name for CSKA Moscow with 61 goals and 33 assists in 184 games, after which he joined Leicester City for a club record £16.6 million fee.

A brief stopover in the Nigeria Professional Football League followed with his boyhood club Kano Pillars but Musa returned to Europe shortly after in 2021, joining Turkish Super Lig side Fatih Karagumruk.
He joined another Turkish club Sivasspor in September 2022, where he played 28 games for the club, scoring just one goal.
