The previous stage of the qualifiers saw Nigeria's Olympic Eagles knock Tanzania out.

Head coach of Nigeria's Olympic football team Salisu Yusuf has listed 30 players expected to participate in a camping exercise ahead of Nigeria's Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Guinea.

Yusuf's call-up includes four goalkeepers, eight defenders, ten midfielders, and eight attackers, mostly players plying their trade in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The Olympic Eagles will host the first leg at Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan on March 22, 2023, before travelling to Guinea for the reverse fixture.

Nigeria vs Guinea winner to qualify for U-23 AFCON

In the previous round, Tanzania held the Olympics Eagles to a 1-1 draw in Dar es Salaam but got knocked out at Nigeria's expense following a 2-0 defeat in Ibadan.

The winner of the tie between Nigeria and Guinea will proceed to the 2023 U-23 AFCON.

The Africa U-23 Cup of Nations event will serve as the qualification process for African teams expected to participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
