Carlo Ancelotti reveals that he will like to continue at Real Madrid.
Los Blancos manager Carlo Ancelotti has provided an update on his future at Real Madrid, revealing his desires.
The 63-year-old Italian manager delivered Real Madrid's 10th and 14th Champions League trophies, and he says he would like to be at Real Madrid for as long as possible.
What Ancelotti said
Ancelotti was speaking at the press conference ahead of the El Clasico tomorrow, and he spoke about his future at Real Madrid.
Carlo expressed his happiness at Real Madrid, saying he would like to spend the rest of his life there, but he recognized the impossibility.
Ancelotti's contract with Real Madrid expires at the end of next season, but he has been strongly linked with the Brazilian national team job, and reports suggest that the club would like to move on from him at the end of the season.
However, Ancelotti has said the decision will be made by the club at the end of the season, but reveals that his desire is to stay.
The 63-year-old, who is famed for his laissez-faire demeanour on the sidelines, gave an update on his future in the same vein, saying if Madrid wants him here for only three months, he would enjoy it, and if they want him for three years, he would gladly take it.
"I would stay at this club for the rest of my life," Ancelotti said, per the Relevo.
"But that is impossible. It is a decision that will be made at the end of the season. My thought is that I want to continue and I hope that is the case."
"If the club wants me here for three months, I'll enjoy it; and if they want me here for three years, I'll enjoy it just the same."
