Cristiano Ronaldo broke another international record and was on target twice, as Portugal beat minnows Liechtenstein in EURO 2024 qualifying
Cristiano Ronaldo reached another international milestone with his 197th appearance for Portugal and celebrated the accomplishment with a brace in A Seleção's 4-0 win over minnows Liechtenstein in EURO 2024 qualifying.
Liechtenstein could only watch in resignation as the A Selecao breezed through their first EURO 2024 qualifying game because Portugal spared no expense for Roberto Martinez' first game in charge of the national team.
The 4-0 win sees Portugal climb to first place after their first game in the qualifiers, as they pip Bosnia & Herzegovina who beat Iceland 3-0.
