Barcelona are sweating over the fitness of key defender Andreas Christensen who picked up an injury on international duty with Denmark.
Andreas Christensen limped off the pitch early in the first half during Norway’s game against Finland on Thursday night after suffering a calf injury.
Barcelona's Andreas Christensen an injury doubt for El Clasico
The initial diagnosis show that it is not a serious injury but Christensen is likely to miss a few crucial games for Barcelona.
After the game, tests were carried out which indicated that he had suffered a small tear in his left calf muscle, giving him an estimated recovery time of around four weeks.
On Friday, Christensen will return to Barcelona and undergo tests to determine the extent of his injury and how long he will be out. As it stands, he will not be able to play against Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey on 5 April.
Christensen arrived in the summer on a free transfer and has forged an excellent pairing for the Blaugrana alongside Ronald Araujo.
