However, Bori expressed his anger over the situation and said that he had told Ansu to leave the team.

The two will meet next month, according to Bori, who also revealed that his son's lack of playing time prevented him from attending Barcelona's 2-1 victory over Real Madrid in El Clasico.
In an interview with Cope, Bori said, “At Barca they tell me that they have bet a lot on Ansu, they tell me that clearly. When I sat down with Jorge Mendes, the first thing he told me was that Ansu wants to stay and will continue playing for Barcelona.
“But I, as a father, thought otherwise, and Ansu doesn't agree with that. What bothers me is how they are treating Ansu for minutes. One minute, two minutes, three minutes, that's what bothers me.”
Fati looking for regular first team action
Ansu Fati has found it hard to get into the Barcelona team this season having contributed only three goals in all competitions. His playing time was mostly limited by this injury which has had an effect on his progress.
Although Bori insisted he has nothing against Barcelona's head coach Xavi, he did acknowledge his sadness as a father. Last month, Spanish news outlets indicated that Mendes had been considering Fati's alternatives as he seeks regular first-team participation.
