The Super Eagles star could be lining up in Real Madrid’s colours in the Spanish top flight next year.
Super Eagles star Samuel Chukwueze has emerged as a shock transfer target for Real Madrid days after silencing Los Blancos at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Chukwueze was the star in LaLiga last weekend after scoring a brace in Villarreal’s stunning win over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on Saturday.
Chukwueze impresses Real Madrid
The 23-year-old restored parity for the Yellow Submarines in the first half with a brilliant individual finish before scoring a stunning winner ten minutes from time.
It now appears Chukwueze’s stunning performance in Madrid’s home impressed the club’s chiefs, who are now set to make a move for him.
According to Radio Marca via theMadridZone, Real Madrid will try to sign Chukwueze this summer or next summer.

Los Blancos believe they can convince the Nigeria international to ditch Estadio la Ceramica for the Bernabeu.
Chukwueze has been with Villarreal since 2018, starting with the youth team before joining the first team the same season.
However, his contract with the club expires in 2024, meaning he is free to speak with other clubs from January.
Chukwueze's incredible season
Villarreal are likely to offer the Nigerian a new contract, however, as the former Golden Eaglets star has been in superb form this season.
The 23-year-old has 13 goals and 11 assists in 40 appearances for the Yellow Submarines this season.
Six of his goals are in LaLiga, with another five assists in 27 games. This is Chukwueze’s best season yet since he arrived at the club.

Chukwueze ranks second behind only Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior for the number of direct goal contributions registered following a ball carry in 2022/23 in all competitions.
