Former AC Milan manager Carlo Ancelotti speaks on the Chelsea manager job.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out the possibility of becoming the next permanent manager of Chelsea, saying he will not return there.
The Italian manager was in charge of Chelsea for 109 games between the 2009/10 season and the 2010/11 season and has been linked with a return to the club following Graham Potter's sacking, but the 63-year-old has now publicly turned down the chance.
What Ancelotti said
Frank Lampard is currently the interim manager of Chelsea, taking over after Potter's termination; however, Chelsea are still actively in search of a permanent manager, and Ancelotti has been linked with the role.
The Real Madrid boss was asked about links to Chelsea, and he played down a return to Stamford Bridge.
He expressed his love for the club, saying he is a fan and that he enjoyed his stay there, but he explicitly stated that he will not be returning to the club.
