Former Manchester United manager David Moyes believes his side are capable of beating Arsenal.
West Ham boss David Moyes fancies his side’s chances against league leaders Arsenal, saying his team will try to beat the high-flying Gunners.
Arsenal continues their march towards their first league title since 2004, and this weekend they face struggling West Ham, who are a whopping 40 points behind the table toppers, and only three points above the drop zone.

The Hammers boss spoke confidently during the pre-match press conference ahead of their clash against Mikel Arteta’s charges, suggesting his team have enough to beat Arsenal when they host them at the London Stadium in their Sunday afternoon kickoff.

Moyes believes his side are well adept at taking on the big powers in the Premier League, and although he acknowledges the Gunners’ strong away form, he claims to back his side’s record against them, although they have failed to beat Arteta’s side since 2019, losing six times and drawing once since then.
"We will put out a team that will try and beat Arsenal. Last year, we challenged a lot of the so-called 'big teams' so we will try to give them a good game,” He said per the BBC.
"They have got themselves in a great position [to possibly win the league.]"
"They are very good. And they have a good record on the road. It makes it a difficult game but we have had a good couple of games against Arsenal over the past years and hopefully, we can do that again."

Arsenal injury update
Arteta revealed in the pre-match press conference that the 21-year-old defender will be forced to watch from the sidelines on Sunday after nursing a back injury that has seen him miss Arsenal's last three matches.
