The Nigerian star Ekerette Udom departs the NPFL and has signed a 3-year deal with Villarreal B.

Villarreal CF have announced the signing of promising Nigerian defender Ekerette Udom for their B team straight from the NPFL.

The 21-year-old centre-back has penned a three-year deal with the Spanish club after successfully resolving visa issues that had initially delayed his move.

Standing at an impressive 1.98 meters tall, Udom brings a commanding presence to the Villarreal B backline.

The young defender, born on May 27, 2003, in Uyo, Nigeria, is known simply as "Udom" and is noted for his aerial prowess and versatility, with the ability to also operate as a holding midfielder.
