Nigerian National Team have begun full preparation for the last round of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Benin Republic as new players arrive the camp of Super Eagles in Abidjan.
The Super Eagles are camped in Abidjan and they will face the Benin Republic on Matchday Five at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium on Thursday, November 14th.
As of Monday night, eight players have already arrived in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.
Early Birds set the Tone
Leading the early arrivals are established stars like Moses Simon from Nantes and Samuel Chukwueze from AC Milan.
Goalkeeper Amas Obasogie, midfielders Raphael Onyedika, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, and Frank Onyeka, and defenders Gabriel Osho and Bruno Onyemaechi have joined camp early.
Remaining Players En Route
The rest of the 23-man squad, including captain William Troost-Ekong, striker Victor Osimhen from Galatasaray, and forward Ademola Lookman from Atalanta, are expected to arrive on Tuesday.

Super Eagles camp opens in Abidjan as Osimhen and Lookman set to lead Nigeria to 2025 AFCON
As the camp officially opens, the current African Player of the Year, Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman, will be leading the Super Eagles to victory.
The Super Eagles, runners-up in the 2023 AFCON, currently lead their qualifying group with 10 points. They need just one point from their remaining two games to secure their place in the 2025 tournament.
After the Benin clash, they will return to Nigeria to host Rwanda in their final group match on November 18th at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo.
