Liverpool will be thanking their stars that Salah did not leave the club for Saudi Arabia after the Egyptian reached more milestones with his performance against Wolves
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah was quietly excellent for the Reds as they came back from an early set back to beat Wolves in the Premier League early kick-off.
Although the Egyptian did not get on the scoresheet, he was still a key contributor to the 3-1 win, as he was involved in all three goals.

Why Salah and Nnadozie did not make the shortlist for The FIFA Best Awards
Salah and Nnadozie were not included in the FIFA Best Men’s and Women’s nominees list released this week.
Salah provided two assists for Cody Gakpo and Andy Robertson and he also created the chance for Harvey Elliot that led to Hugo Bueno’s own goal at the end of the game.
The Egyptian’s performances on the night helped him to three more milestones, further cementing his place as a Liverpool and Premier League great
200 Premier League goal involvements
With his first assist of the game for Gakpo’s equaliser, Salah registered his 200th goal involvement in the Premier League, doing so in only 233 matches, faster than any other Premier League player bar Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
Salah’s achievement puts him on the same pedestal as Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard as the only players to reach this figure with the Rwds in Premier League history.
5 consecutive away assists
Although this is not gearing up to be a particularly prolific season for Salah as far as goal-scoring is concerned, the Egyptian has found other ways of making the difference for the Reds, coming up with several important assists.
Salah currently has the joint-most assists in the Premier League and has now also assisted in five consecutive away games in the league, dating back to last season.
The Egyptian master becomes the first Liverpool player to achieve this feat and is one of only four Premier League players to reach this milestone.
The exclusive list of players to have recorded five consecutive Premier League assists in away games also includes Arsenal icon Cesf Fabregas, and two former Everton men Muzzy Izzet and Gerard Deulofeu.
11 matches in a row with a goal or assist
In further testament to Salah’s consistency, the Liverpool man was also directly involved in a Premier League goal for the 11th match running, rivaling his own competition record.
Since 2021, no other player in the competition has registered a goal or assist in up to 10 matches in a row apart from Salah, who has now done it twice.
He contributed to a goal for Liverpool in 15 consecutive games between August and December 2021, and is now on a run of 11 games with a goal or assist as he looks to surpass his own competition milestone.
