Former Liverpool and Chelsea star Joe Cole has backed Blues Enzo Maresca to be named Premier League manager of the season.
In a statement posted on his Instagram account, Mudryk said, "This has come as a complete shock as I have never knowingly used any banned substances or broken any rules, and am working closely with my team to investigate how this could have happened.
"I know that I have not done anything wrong and remain hopeful that I will be back on the pitch soon," he concluded.
Mykhailo Mudryk's last appearance for Chelsea was on November 28th. He has since been absent from the squad for five consecutive matches across all competitions.
