Aaron Rodgers said goodbye to the Green Bay Packers in a heartfelt Instagram post in the wake of his trade away from the franchise.
The Green Bay Packers traded Aaron Rodgers, the No. 15 pick in this year’s draft, and a 2023 fifth-round pick to the Jets for a hefty return as both teams look to go in different directions next season.

The trade brings Rodgers’ 18-year run in Green Bay to an end. A spectacular run that included a Super Bowl title and four NFL MVP awards.
Rodgers sends heartfelt message on Green Bay exit
Rodgers thanked several people in an Instagram post, including his teammates and the Green Bay fans.
“I’m not sure it’s possible to express my gratitude to the Packers fully, our incredible fans, the state of Wisconsin, and the thousands of players I crossed paths with," he began.
"The incredible men and women who work for the organization, and the amazing people who I got to meet along the way, in one post with 10 pictures, but I hope you read this and feel my heart and soul, filled with love, joy, and peace about my time in green and gold."
Rodgers concluded his post by saying:
“This is not the end for us, I will see you again Green Bay, you’ll always have my heart.”
The 39-year-old will now be tasked with leading the New York Jets on a deep playoff run and potentially the Super Bowl.
