Manchester City captain Kyle Walker has decided to leave the Cityzens for a final chapter in his career abroad
AC Milan have reportedly entered the race to secure Manchester City captain Kyle Walker, who has asked to leave the Premier League champions.

The veteran defender’s desire to explore opportunities abroad comes amid reduced playing time this season, a situation confirmed by City manager Pep Guardiola following their 8-0 demolition of Salford City in the FA Cup.
Walker eyes move abroad
Walker, who turns 35 this year, has been a cornerstone of Manchester City’s success since joining from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017 for a reported £50 million.

The England international has made 319 appearances for City, helping them secure six Premier League titles, a historic treble, and 17 trophies in total.
Guardiola revealed that Walker expressed his wish to seek a move abroad, saying, “Two days ago, Kyle [Walker] asked to explore the options to play abroad and end his career. I respect him a lot because I’m more than grateful for all he has done for us.”
AC Milan open to Walker signing
While Bayern Munich were linked with Walker in the past, their offer was deemed insufficient, and this time, clubs in Saudi Arabia as well as AC Milan have emerged as potential destinations for the experienced full-back.

French journalist Loïc Tanzi has reported that AC Milan are “seriously” interested in Walker, adding to speculation about the Rossoneri’s plans to strengthen their defensive ranks with the England international.
AC Milan’s current captain, Davide Calabria, is expected to depart at the end of his contract in June, while Emerson Royal was brought in last summer to bolster the squad, but Walker’s addition could still be key for the Rossoneri.
