Italian giants AC Milan are reportedly keen on signing Kyle Walker this month after the defender expressed a desire to leave Manchester City.
Milan are reportedly ready to swoop for Kyle Walker after the Manchester City captain expressed his desire to leave the Etihad Stadium and explore options abroad.
Walker was noticeably absent from City's squad for their 8-0 FA Cup win over Salford on Saturday.
Manager Pep Guardiola revealed that Walker had requested to leave the club, stating:
"Two days ago, Kyle asked to explore the options to play abroad at the end of his career... In his mind, he would like to explore it, to go to another country, to play the last years for many reasons."
Walker, 34, has won an impressive 17 trophies since joining City from Tottenham in 2017.
With his mind set on a new challenge, he is reportedly considering proposals from AC Milan and the Saudi Pro League.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Milan are eager to sign the veteran defender this month and are hopeful of securing a deal without a transfer fee.
