Kisumu All-Starlets forward Monica Etot climbed the golden boot charts after hitting a brace a fortnight ago in a match against Ulinzi Starlets.
The cunning striker has found the back of the net on 13 occasions in 14 league appearances this campaign.
Recently, Etot earned rare praise from Ulinzi Starlets coach Joseph Mwanza who tipped her to become a great player in the country.
"She has what it takes to become the best player in the specialty. Her link-up play with the rest of the team was even better. She has the pace and power required to bully defenses. Her movement and trickery within the box are some of her strengths," said Mwanza.
Etot hopes to continue his chase for the top goalscorer as the season slowly climaxes.

With 13 goals this season, Wendy Achieng is in pole position to win the award.

The Zetech Sparks captain has netted ten times this campaign, with her latest goal coming last weekend when her team hammered Kayole Starlet 10-0.
Her prolific in-form has massively helped Sparks in their fight to retain league status after a disastrous first leg where they were deep in the relegation zone.
Despite her ability to score goals, the youngster also can play wide on the right and upfront.
