Adagala, however, has not denied receiving the money, though he insists that proper procedures should be followed.
"Some fools think that I can discuss Muhoroni Youth Football Club in any forum. This is a private entity with its own board of management. If you didn't know, now you know and nobody denied that you gave us money but the due process must be observed or the procedure must be followed," Adagala stated firmly in a post on his official Facebook page.
The controversy has had significant repercussions on the proposed takeover of Muhoroni Young by Kericho Rovers, as negotiations between the two clubs have reached an impasse.
