Super Eagles of Nigeria star Ademola Lookman outshines rivals with the traditional outfit known as Agbada to 2024 CAF Awards.
Lookman received the honor less than 33 months after earning his first international cap for Nigeria.
The 27-year-old committed to Nigeria after winning the FIFA U17 World Cup with England at a youth level.

He assisted in leading the Super Eagles to second place at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d'Ivoire earlier to start the year.
Additionally, he played a crucial role in Atalanta FC's UEFA Europa Cup victory the previous season with a hat-trick in the final.
Lookman went viral on social media as he stood out at the event in his Agbada to outshine other nominees.

President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Bola Tinubu congratulated Lookman on succeeding Victor Osimhen as the CAF Player of the Year.

Presidential candidate and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar also sent a congratulatory message.

Peter Obi congratulates Lookman
Presidential candidate and former governor of Anambra issued a lengthy statement about Lookman's victory.
He said, "Nigeria was again the starlight in Continental soccer as our own Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman, was crowned the African Footballer of the Year 2024, while Super Falcon's goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, is again crowned the Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year 2024 at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Awards.
"And to crown it all, the female national team, the Super Falcons, won the continent's Women's National Team of the Year at the same awards.
