AFC Leopards will hope to gain maximum points on Sunday but they face a Bidco United team that they have not beaten in their last five FKF Premier League meetings
AFC Leopards will attempt again to secure their second win of the season when they face Bidco United in Murang’a on Sunday.
Ingwe’s poor start to the season has continued even after the sacking of Tom Juma and the appointment of Tomas Trucha who has won just one of his seven games in charge.
That win, however, came on October 29 against struggling Nzoia Sugar and since then, it has been four draws and one loss for Ingwe.

FOOTBALL Benson Omala & Patrick Kaddu rescue draw for Gor Mahia after early scare from Nzoia Sugar
Patrick Kaddu and Benson Omala canceled out Mohamed Barisa’s early brace as Gor Mahia came from two goals down to share the spoils with Nzoia Sugar.
Leopards have drawn their last three games and what will concern their coach is that they are not just scoring enough goals but cannot seem to hold onto leads.
Ingwe have scored more than once in one match since Trucha took over with 1-1 and 0-0 draws a common feature in their games this season.
They also seem not capable of utilising their chances as witnessed in their last three games, two of which they took an early lead before allowing their opponents to nick a point.

FKFPL Murang'a Seal end two-game losing streak with draw against Ulinzi Stars
Ulinzi and Murang'a Seal showed strong attacks with Ben Stanley and Mark Bikokwa playing crucial roles.
Bidco will therefore present another test for Trucha’s men even if they are coming from back-to-back defeats to KCB and Kakamega Homeboyz.
Anthony Akhulia’s side are 10th on the table with 17 points but they have two matches in hand against most of their rivals and were tough to beat before the meetings with KCB and Homeboyz.
They forced goalless draws against FKF Premier League leaders Gor Mahia, second-placed Posta Rangers and sixth-placed Murang’a Seal, added to wins over Bandari and Ulinzi Stars which points to what Leopards should expect on Sunday.
Bidco are the home team but will be hosting the match at St Sebastian Park, the home of Murang’a Seal against 14th-placed Leopards.
Akhulia’s men are desperate to return to winning ways and can narrow the gap with Gor Mahia to five points if they win their matches in hand, which will add to their motivation.
Bidco have become a bogey team for Leopards since their promotion to the Premier League as they are unbeaten in five straight matches against Ingwe since 2020.

FKFPL Kenya Police striker Clinton Kinanga gains confidence with extended run of game time upfront
Kinanga was not getting alot of game time last season but has now had an extended run in the team since Elvis Rupia’s departure.
Leopards’ last win against Akhulia’s side came in December 2020 and since then, it has been a pain. Bidco have claimed three wins while two games have ended in a draw, with the Thika-based side thrashing Ingwe 4-1 at their own backyard in January before a 1-1 draw in Thika in April.
