Leopards have added quality and depth to their side with ex-Nzoia players Munyendo, Bakari, and Katasi among those who have arrived at the Den with great promise.
AFC Leopards new signing Boniface Munyendo is looking forward to a fruitful campaign after swapping Nzoia Sugar FC for the Den.
The defensive midfielder was the first Leopards signing when the transfer window opened in June and is keen to bring his qualities to Ingwe, having been an integral part of Salim Babu’s Nzoia Sugar that challenged for the FKF Premier League title last season before finishing fourth.
"I am excited to have made this move and looking forward to the big challenge ahead. It's time to put in more work,” Munyendo said after his unveiling.

. Humphrey Katasi is set to fill the void, bringing his Golden Glove-winning skills to the team.
The midfielder has signed a two-year contract with Ingwe who have also signed some of his team-mates at Nzoia such as goalkeeper Humphrey Katasi, defender Randy Bakari and winger Hassan Beja.
Munyendo joined Nzoia in 2021 on a two-year contract from Vihiga Bullets and Babu turned him into a refined midfielder. With Leopards struggling defensively last season, the midfielder will provide the much-needed foil to their backline as head coach Tom Juma seeks to make Ingwe hard to beat.
Meanwhile, Munyendo’s former Nzoia teammate Bakari is keen to help Leopards lift the title which Ingwe last won 25 years ago.

Injury blow for Ingwe as midfielder faces extended spell on the sidelines.
"I am very happy to be in the Den, it's now time to grind and give fans good results on the pitch. I want to lift the FKF-PL with AFC Leopards and have more clean sheets,” he said upon his unveiling.
Leopards unveiled 20 players on Thursday with former Green Commandos winger Ronald Sichenje Bebeto and ex-Mathare United centre-back Gideon Were among them.
"I have been eagerly waiting for this moment to represent the best team in Kenya. Chances like this cannot be taken for granted. I can’t wait for my debut and make AFC Leopards proud,” said Sichenje.
Ingwe received a relief when their transfer ban was lifted by FIFA this month after reaching an agreement with former coach Patrick Aussems on how to settle his over Ksh20 million pending dues.
The club has been under a transfer embargo since February 2022 and their predicament contributed largely to their seventh-place finish in the Premier League last season as a thin squad made up of inexperienced players struggled for consistency.
