The Rwandese international reportedly underwent a medical on Wednesday at AFC Leopards after training with the club for two weeks.
Rwanda international Arthur Gitego has left Marines FC with just five months left on his contract amidst reports he is set to join AFC Leopards after completing a medical.
Gitego has heavily attracted the interest of several clubs both locally and abroad, including Ingwe.
He also received an offer from CA Bizertin of Tunisia and Macedonian side FK Shkupi but their offers for the talented striker were rebuffed after Marines made it clear they did not want to release their star striker.

Arthur Gitego: Training with AFC Leopards but eyeing a contract elsewhere
Macedonian club likely to sign Rwandan striker Arthur Gitego outbidding AFC Leopards with a superior offer.
The move to thus leave the club on a free has therefore come as a shock considering his contract was not yet expired.
According to Times Sport, the wonderkid is set to sign a two-year deal with the Kenyan club on Friday.
Gitego made his senior debut for Rwanda in November 2023, and he was in Amavubi squad that drew goalless with Zimbabwe in Huye in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

FKFPL What Tomas Trucha said on AFC Leopards' reported transfer target Arthur Gitego
Ingwe whipped Ulinzi Stars 1-0 to move further from the relegation red line albeit by just one point.
He previously also played for Heroes FC, Kiyovu Sports and Gicumbi FC.
The move to AFC Leopards had been rumored to hit a snag earlier as Macedonian football heavyweights FC Shkupi were reportedly closing in on a deal that could snatch him away from AFC Leopards.
Gitego's ability to consistently deliver top-notch performances has not only made him a standout figure at the club level but also on the national stage, cementing his status as one of the most promising talents in Rwandan football.
