AFC Leopards will be keen to avoid hitting the headlines for the wrong reasons again when they face Division Two League side PAC University in the FKF Cup Round of 32.
AFC Leopards will be seeking to put the difficulties of the last one week aside when they take on Roysambu-based PAC University in the FKF Cup Round of 32 on Sunday.
The match, set to take place at the Kenya Police Sacco grounds, will give coach Tomas Trucha an opportunity to shuffle his pack and also give a rest to some of his regular starters.
However, after a week when the squad boycotted training for some days over delayed payment of their winning bonuses, Trucha will hope that the mutiny has not affected mood in the camp and that his charges will rise to the occasion.

FOOTBALL AFC Leopards players agree to temporarily return to work after truce over pay dispute
AFC Leopards players have agreed to resume training following partial payment of their delayed allowances that has seen them down tools.
Ingwe have been the form team of 2024 as they are yet to lose a match after winning five straight league games before last week’s goalless draw with Kakamega Homeboyz.
That had seen confidence rise as they started looking up rather than down on the FKF Premier League table but the go slow was a setback that Trucha might not have liked.
The coach admitted the goalless draw with Homeboyz had come as a result of an internal problem which came to the fore a few days later and that is not the kind of preparations he would have wished even when their next opponent is a lower league side.

FOOTBALL Remembering AFC Leopards last foray into CAF competitions
Six years ago, AFC Leopards exited their last CAF Confederation Cup match marking a prolonged absence from continental competitions since then.
Victory on Sunday, therefore, will help put that aside ahead of a busy fixture list in the league which will test their recent upturn in form.
PAC University, also known as Viongozi FC, play in the FKF National Division 2 League-Eastern Zone and will fancy their chances against Leopards, especially after witnessing Bungoma Stars eliminate FC Talanta on Saturday, having sent Bandari FC packing in the first round.
