AFC Leopards take on Muhoroni Youth hoping for a second straight win for the first time this season but their opponents have proved to be no pushovers in their recent matches
AFC Leopards face a daunting task when they take on Muhoroni Youth in their next FKF Premier League match on Sunday.
Ingwe started 2024 in fine fashion by beating Ulinzi Stars for just their third win in 17 matches but they come up against a Muhoroni side that is unbeaten in four matches, and have won three on the bounce.
Charles Odera’s men have coped well with a number of off-field distractions, recording identical 1-0 wins over Sofapaka, Posta Rangers and Shabana, and will be confident of adding Leopards to their list of causalities given they will be playing at home.

FKFPL AFC Leopards suffer transfer setback as key target stays put
AFC Leopards' plans to sign a key Tusker FC defender are postponed as he extends his contract with his current club.
The match will not be held at the famous Got Alila in Muhoroni after being moved to Mamboleo in Kisumu but the home side should still expect a partisan crowd which will play a pivotal part.
Leopards may have won against Ulinzi but they were still not convincing and it remains to be seen how they will cope with the intensity of Muhoroni.
Ingwe are finding it hard to score goals, an issue they hope to address this month with some additions to the front line, but their pursuit of reinforcements in other areas is proving difficult so far.

FOOTBALL AFC Leopards transfer blow? Posta Rangers place huge price tags on wanted duo
AFC Leopards are facing transfer hurdles in their pursuit of highly-rated Posta Rangers defender and midfielder with the asking price out of their reach
Tusker FC defender Michael Kibwage, who was heavily linked with Ingwe, opted to extend his stay with the Brewers until the end of the season and they are also believed to have been priced out of a move for Posta Rangers defender Ken Owino and midfielder Brian Musa.
It means coach Tomas Trucha has to get a tune out of what is at his disposal as the club looks to other targets and given their struggles, they cannot afford a negative result in Kisumu.
Leopards and Muhoroni have both accumulated 18 points, Ingwe only ahead on goal difference, and recent history suggest Sunday’s game can go either way.

Shabana’s new coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo feels Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards fans cannot match Tore Bobe supporters as he credits them for making it easy for him to accept the job
