Following a 2-0 defeat to Mali in their first group game, South Africa were determined to throw everything to Namibia to stay in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

Having missed his spot-kick against Mali, Percy Tau returned from the same range and buried it in the 14th minute to give his side a pleasant start.
Themba Zwane then added a first-half brace before Thapelo Maseko sealed three points for Bafana Bafana.
Head Coach Hugo Broos was left impressed with the display and highlighted it would spur them for the rest of the tournament.
"We knew that we had to win the game to have some chances of going through the group stages," Broos told the press after the win.
"We scored the first goal, and we were relieved; we played a good game and showed the players what the opponent's weaknesses were and strongest points."
"It's a good win, important for the goal difference, and now we have a boost of confidence for the game of Wednesday against a very strong opponent (Tunisia)."
Bafana Bafana will need to avoid defeat against Tunisia, who have collected just one point in two games.

Meanwhile, Algeria, who are on two points, will also be keen on victory if they are to stand any chance of making the Round of 16.
"We must also win that game if we're to stay in Ivory Coast. We prepared the team very well; I hope we're ready."
Mali lead Group E proceedings with four points, while South Africa and Namibia sit second and third with three, respectively. Tunisia are at the base with one point.
