"We were playing well, enterprising, we offered great football, but unfortunately, we regret all our missed opportunities," said the Leopards coach.

"We're going into the competition with a two-fold objective: to go as far as possible and continue to work on renewing our squad," Desabre noted.
Desabre and DR Congo will now turn their attention to giants Morocco, who currently lead Group F after their 3-0 victory over Tanzania.
"We will recover well. Of course, we will still play well as we were this evening. It wasn't a final," said Desabre.
